The North Central Texas College Completion Center offers success coaching, career development, and job placement services for all new-to-college students. The program implements comprehensive student engagement programs that increase retention and completion rates of first-time, low income students, expand faculty and staff capacity to serve students, and strengthen the institution’s fiscal stability. The Completion Center is here to empower students to their personal success!
Success Coaching Services:
• Workshops and classroom presentations with student and college success topics:
- Improve time management skills
- Demonstrate knowledge by improving test-taking strategies
- Study smarter with effective reading techniques
- Avoid procrastination and stress with goal setting
- Find community resources to support short & long term goals
- Prepare questions before meeting with professors
• In depth coaching to address students’ individual and educational goals
Career Services:
- Career development services
- Creating an effective resume and cover letter
- Developing professional interviewing skills
- Career exploration & career assessments
- Deciding on your degree or certificate
- Job fairs, career days, and employer information sessions
- Effective job search and networking skills
The Completion Center is located on three of the five campuses- Gainesville, Corinth and Flower Mound. In Gainesville, the center is located in the 100 administration building, room 114. In Corinth room 111, suite 108, and in Flower Mound room 115B in the library.
