Bacterial Meningitis Immunization<\/p>\n

Required for students less than 22 years of age. For documentation submission requirements and\/or a list of exemptions\/waivers, visit nctc.edu\/registration-guide<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

4. \u00a0Fourth Step<\/strong><\/p>\n

Request official documents verifying your previous education.\u00a0Students are responsible for contacting the school to make the request.<\/p>\n

5. \u00a0Fifth Step<\/strong><\/p>\n

Testing<\/p>\n

The State of Texas requires that all college students prove they are college-ready before registering for classes at a college or university in Texas.\u00a0 One of the ways to establish college-readiness is through placement testing otherwise known as the TSI Assessment.\u00a0 Contact an NCTC Admissions Office to inquire about your TSI status, or contact a NCTC Counseling and Testing Office to review test dates and locations.<\/p>\n

6. \u00a0Sixth Step<\/strong><\/p>\n

Advising<\/p>\n

All new students who have never attended college are asked to meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss a degree plan, test results, course selection, and any other questions about college. North Central Texas College students who have attended college elsewhere are encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor, but it is not required.<\/p>\n

7. \u00a0Seventh Step<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attend New Student Orientation<\/p>\n

All first time college students are required to participate in orientation.\u00a0 College 101 is available in-person or online. The College 101 videos and quiz are accessible at nctc.edu\/college101-orientation<\/a>. College 101 must be completed prior to placement testing.<\/p>\n

8. \u00a0Eighth\u00a0Step<\/strong><\/p>\n

Register for Classes<\/p>\n

Register for your classes online at my.nctc.edu<\/b><\/a> or in person.<\/p>\n

9. \u00a0Ninth Step<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pay for Classes<\/p>\n

Pay for your classes online at my.nctc.edu<\/b><\/a> with a credit\/debit card or e-check or in person at the business office.\u00a0 Installment payment plans are also available for fall and spring terms. Call 940-668-4200 for more information on paying for classes.<\/p>\n
