Bacterial Meningitis Immunization

Required for students less than 22 years of age. For documentation submission requirements and/or a list of exemptions/waivers, visit nctc.edu/registration-guide

4.  Fourth Step

Request official documents verifying your previous education. Students are responsible for contacting the school to make the request.

5.  Fifth Step

Testing

The State of Texas requires that all college students prove they are college-ready before registering for classes at a college or university in Texas.  One of the ways to establish college-readiness is through placement testing otherwise known as the TSI Assessment.  Contact an NCTC Admissions Office to inquire about your TSI status, or contact a NCTC Counseling and Testing Office to review test dates and locations.

6.  Sixth Step

Advising

All new students who have never attended college are asked to meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss a degree plan, test results, course selection, and any other questions about college. North Central Texas College students who have attended college elsewhere are encouraged to meet with an Academic Advisor, but it is not required.

7.  Seventh Step

Attend New Student Orientation

All first time college students are required to participate in orientation.  College 101 is available in-person or online. The College 101 videos and quiz are accessible at nctc.edu/college101-orientation. College 101 must be completed prior to placement testing.

Register for Classes

Register for your classes online at my.nctc.edu or in person.

9.  Ninth Step

Pay for Classes

Pay for your classes online at my.nctc.edu with a credit/debit card or e-check or in person at the business office.  Installment payment plans are also available for fall and spring terms. Call 940-668-4200 for more information on paying for classes.
