Chad Keaton graduated from NCTC with a degree in Cybersecurity in 2016<\/b><\/p>\n
Chad Keaton landed in the perfect spot when he entered North Central Texas College\u2019s newly created Cybersecurity program in the fall of 2015. And while it wasn\u2019t always easy he persisted and even got an internship at Cyber Defense Labs, thanks in part to one of his Cybersecurity instructors, Kevin Henson. Cyber Defense Labs (CDL) is a Dallas-based cyber security and research organization focused on assisting corporate America, government, and community organizations with improving overall security effectiveness. Chad studied and then practiced his skills in vulnerability assessment, network security architecture, penetration testing and remote security management throughout his time at NCTC and CDL, making Chad an integral part of the CDL team. Chad is not only responsible for the Security Operations Center during the night shift, he\u2019s gaining additional job skills through the mentorship of CDL\u2019s chief engineer and is on track for even greater accomplishments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
